When a client voluntarily agrees to participate in a program, he/she gives consent by participating in the registration of aforementioned program.
If you submit any Personal Data about other people to us or our Service Providers (e.g., if you make a reservation for another individual), you represent that you have the authority to do so and you permit us to use the data in accordance with this Privacy Statement.
What we do with the information we gather
We require this information only for the purposes of executing the program and services as requested by you. The knowledge and consent of an individual is required for the collection, use, or disclosure of personal information. Meridican will only collect the information required for the purposes identified to the individual.
To fulfill the travel arrangements for an individual, it is often required to process personal information through a third party. These third parties may include; airlines, hotels, registration web sites, transportation companies, special event venues, etc. We only provide the data required for such arrangements and never share your contact information. You will only be contacted by Meridican when it is required to finalize your program arrangements.
We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. Unfortunately, no data transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, however we have put in place reasonable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online to prevent unauthorized access or disclosure.
We will protect personal information against such risks as loss or theft, unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use, modification or destruction, through appropriate security measures, regardless of the format in which it is held.
All Meridican employees with access to personal information shall be required to respect the confidentiality of that information. Meridican shall endeavor to protect personal information disclosed to third parties by contractual agreement detailing the confidentiality and the purpose for which it is to be used.

We organize programs and events globally. Sharing data cross-border is essential in order to make your necessary travel arrangements. As a result, we will, subject to law, transfer Personal Data collected in connection with the services, to entities in countries where data protection standards may differ from those in the country where you reside. By registering for the program, you understand that we may transfer your personal data globally where required.

You may choose to restrict the collection or use of your personal information at any time.
We will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties unless we have your permission or we are required by law to do so. You may request details of personal information which we hold about you at any time.
